Born and raised in North Carolina, Resa has devoted more than 30 years to both the Mecklenburg and Cabarrus County Clerk of Court’s office. Starting as a Deputy Clerk at age 24 and serving 18 years as Assistant Clerk, she has led with fairness, compassion, and professionalism.
Why I’m Running
For too long, the Clerk’s Office has struggled under leadership that lacked transparency and accountability.
I’m running to restore professionalism, improve service, and create a positive work environment where staff are respected and citizens are treated fairly.
